Kake is a remote-first, people-first global community of senior engineers. We turn raw data into reliable insights and scalable pipelines, collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive data-driven decisions.

We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and own data pipelines, ensure data quality, and build models to solve business problems. This role is fully remote, requires strong SQL, Python/R, and experience with ETL/ELT, data warehouses, and visualization tools.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on programming with Python, R, or similar.
• Experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT, or data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
• Ability to translate business questions into data-driven analysis.
• Excellent English communication and ability to work remotely.
• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across time zones.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows for analytics and reporting.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Build, validate, and maintain statistical or ML models to solve business problems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across sources.
• Design and maintain data models, schemas, and warehouses for scalable analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate questions into data solutions and reporting.
• Contribute to data best practices and cross-project improvements.
• Participate in requirement reviews and identify data risks early.
