T he successful candidate will conduct advanced research in the field of environmental engineering, mining and energy.
Particular emphasis will be placed on: (a) energy use in water and wastewater management; (b) energy efficiency and energy management in water utilities; (c) small-scale hydropower and hydraulic energy recovery in water supply systems; (d) energy production from wastewater-derived biogas; (e) distributed energy generation; and (f) the energy security and autonomy of critical water and wastewater infrastructure, including resilience to blackout events.
The role also involves building and maintaining international scientific collaborations and cooperation with industrial partners from the energy, and waste‑water sectors, in line with circular‑economy principles.

Required qualifications and experience:
Professional experience in water and wastewater utilities involving the delivery of water and wastewater management tasks will be an additional asset.
Required languages: English or Polish (at excellent level).

4) photocopies of documents certifying obtaining the professional title of Master of Arts, Master of Science or equivalent, the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy;
