Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering, Mining and Power Engineering, chemistry or related field.
• Experience at a university abroad as research or teaching staff.
• Experience in scientific collaboration with recognized research institutions.
• Publication record with at least one article in a top-quartile journal (JCR).
• Experience in energy management in water and wastewater utilities.
• Knowledge of small-scale hydropower and wastewater-derived energy sources.
• Experience with power supply security for critical infrastructure.
• Experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research in energy and water/wastewater management.
• Analyze energy efficiency, renewable sources, and power security for critical infrastructure.
• Participate in research projects and prepare proposals.
• Analyze results and prepare scientific publications.
• Present findings at conferences and collaborate with research teams and industry partners.
• Perform other scientific and organizational duties for the unit.
