Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Italian statutory reporting and local compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Italian.
• At least two years' audit experience and statutory reporting experience.
• Experience in financial and management reporting with monthly close timetables.
• Analytical, quantitative and detail-oriented with clear presenting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting, statutory accounting, and tax compliance for Italy and other entities.
• Review accounts to ensure compliance with group and local reporting requirements.
• Oversee month-end close, including balance sheet and P&L reviews and reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls, including SOX controls and evidence requirements.
• Coordinate tax returns, reporting, audits, transfer pricing, and risk assessments with teams and providers.
• Partner with external auditors to deliver timely audits and deadlines.
• Act as liaison with local tax authorities and support company secretarial compliance.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and support entity restructurings within budget.
