Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Italian statutory reporting and local compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Italian.
• At least two years' audit experience and proven statutory reporting experience.
• Experience in financial and management reporting, including monthly close timetables.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and investigative skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across finance and non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting, statutory accounting, and tax compliance for Italy and other entities.
• Review entity accounts for Group and local reporting compliance.
• Oversee month-end close activities including balance sheet and P&L reviews.
• Maintain internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Coordinate tax returns, reporting, audits, transfer pricing, and tax risk assessments.
• Partner with external auditors to deliver timely audits and filings.
• Act as a local tax authority contact and support corporate secretarial compliance.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and support restructuring projects.
