Job summary

The Whiteam is seeking an experienced Unified Communications Engineer (Advanced level) to support Frontex Headquarters’ UC environment. The role combines on-site and remote work (40% on-site, 60% remote) across a 48-month mission.

You will administer Exchange Server and Skype for Business, manage Exchange Online and MS Teams, and drive capacity planning, patch management, and documentation in a complex, security-cleared setting.

Qualifications

Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server technology including Exchange Hybrid.
Experience administering complex Exchange topology in distributed environments.
Experience administering Skype for Business Server.
Expert in optimizing, tuning and planning capacity of Exchange Server.
Experience in optimizing, tuning and planning capacity of Skype for Business Server.
Practical experience with administering communication features of MS Teams.
Experience in Exchange patch management.
Experience in Skype for Business patch management.
Expertise in analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Basic Knowledge in administering other Microsoft systems.

Responsibilities

Administration of Exchange Servers.
Administration of Skype for Business Servers.
Administration of Exchange Online service.
Administration of MS Teams service including Teams Phone.
Acting as 2nd line of support across production, testing and development environments.
Troubleshooting incidents and updating ticket status promptly.
Liaising with other administrators and harmonizing solutions and processes.
Architecting long-term changes to unified communication platforms.
Contributing to specifications for solutions based on or integrated with unified communication platforms.
Liaising with developer teams to align topologies and configuration of unified communication platforms.
Maintenance of system documentation and participation in solution documentation.
