Job summary

Frontex is seeking an experienced Unified Communication Engineer for Warsaw with 60% remote work and 40% on-site activity at Frontex Headquarters. The role requires strong Exchange/Skype for Business/Teams administration skills, scripting in PowerShell, and EU security clearance.

The position is a 48-month mission with a flexible rate. Candidates should have at least 5 years in relevant roles, B2 English, and experience in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Excellent practical knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server technology including Exchange Hybrid.
• Experience in administration of complex Exchange topology deployed in distributed environments.
• Practical experience with administering Microsoft Skype for Business Server.
• Expert in optimizing, tuning and planning capacity of Exchange Server.
• Experience in optimizing, tuning and planning capacity of Skype for Business Server.
• Practical experience with administering communication features of MS Teams.
• Experience in Exchange patch management.
• Experience in Skype for Business patch management.
• Expert in analysing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Basic Knowledge in administering other Microsoft systems.
• A proactive attitude, team-work spirit, being self-motivated with a strong user orientation.
• Able to cope with the fast-changing technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technologies, technical and business concepts to multiple audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administration of Exchange Servers.
• Administration of Skype for Business Servers.
• Administration of Exchange Online service.
• Administration of MS Teams service including Teams Phone.
• Acting as 2nd line of support in production, testing, and development environments.
• Troubleshooting incidents and updating ticket status in the system.
• Liaising with other administrators and harmonizing solutions.
• Architecting long term changes to unified communication platforms.
• Contributing to specifications for solutions based on unified communication platforms.
• Liaising with developer teams to align topologies and configurations.
