Job summary

TheWhiteam seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect (EARCH) to support Frontex PROM Architecture Team. The role emphasizes designing and governing complex architectures across programs, aligning business and IT to strategic goals.

The assignment spans 48 months with 40% on-site at Frontex Headquarters and 60% remote, requiring strong governance, risk management, and international collaboration. Security clearance and recognized certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Enterprise Architect in an organization.
• Hands-on experience building EA culture and practices.
• Expert in enterprise and business architecture design.
• Familiar with business process development, value streams and capability maps design.
• Good knowledge of EA domains.
• Good knowledge about maturity models analyses and frameworks.
• Proficient with systems modelling tools like Sparx EA, Aris Architect or similar.
• Familiar with TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected framework or similar.
• Expert knowledge in computer science and IT to research IT solutions and enhance operations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes processes for enterprise architecture developments and management.
• Supports programmes and projects in planning and controlling (risk management), harmonizing, change management and ensuring architectural compliance.
• Consult and contribute to development of architectural capabilities of the organization.
• Designs and communicates enterprise architecture.
• Designs and maintains architectural repository.
• Design interoperability and interfaces between systems.
• Elicits needs, analyses requirements.
• Translates business, users and technical needs into architectures.
• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components and system features.
• Defines transition roadmaps for architectures.
• Prepares system documentation and presentations.
• Collects and interprets system metrics.
• Assists projects implementing EA elements.
• Assesses architecture maturity.
• Analyzes organizational structures and information systems portfolio.
• Analyzes business processes.
• Conducts IS costs/benefits analysis.
