Sii Poland is seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our team, responsible for commissioning machines, lines, and industrial equipment, and testing automation systems. You will collaborate with experienced PLC programmers on client projects.

The role requires at least 2 years of commissioning and maintenance experience, 60% travel, and English proficiency at B2 level. Knowledge of PLC environments such as TIA Portal, TwinCAT, or Studio 5000 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commissioning and maintenance experience on machines and industrial equipment
• Willingness to travel about 60% of the year to multiple countries
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Basic PLC programming skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and start-up of machines, lines, and equipment per documentation
• Test machines and PLC/HMI software (functional tests, operation verification)
• Check electrical connections and IO signals (IO checks)
• Parameterize automation devices (inverters, sensors, servo drives)
• Operate and understand PLC environments such as TIA Portal, TwinCAT, or Studio 5000
• Participate in client-site start-ups and collaborate with the project team
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commissioned automation systems
• Participate in FAT and prepare required documentation
