Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our team, driving the commissioning of machines, lines, and industrial equipment and testing automation systems. You will work with experienced PLC programmers on client projects across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities include start-up, testing PLC/HMI software, IO checks, and parameterizing devices, with substantial travel to client sites. Strong problem-solving and English (B2) skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in commissioning and maintenance of machines.
• Willingness to travel ~60% annually.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Basic PLC programming knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to perform functional tests and verify automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and start-up of machines, lines, and equipment per documentation.
• Test machines and PLC/HMI software (functional tests, operation verification).
• Check electrical connections and IO signals (IO check).
• Parameterize automation devices (inverters, sensors, servo drives).
• Operate and understand PLC environments such as TIA Portal, TwinCAT, or Studio 5000.
• Assist in start-up of lines and machines at client sites and collaborate with project team.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commissioned automation systems.
• Participate in FAT and prepare required documentation.
