Sii Poland in Wrocław is seeking a Commissioning Technician to commission machines, lines, and automation systems and to collaborate with experienced PLC programmers on client projects.

You will test PLC/HMI software, verify IO, parameterize devices, and participate in FAT and start-ups at client sites, with about 60% travel to Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, UK, Italy, USA, and Canada. A 2+ year background and English at B2 level are expected; basic PLC skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commissioning and maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Willingness to travel about 60% of the year, including to multiple international destinations.
• Ability to perform functional tests of machines and verify automated solutions.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and working with automation devices.
• Basic PLC programming skills are an advantage.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and start-up of machines, lines and equipment per documentation.
• Test machines and PLC/HMI software (functional tests, operation verification).
• Check electrical connections and IO signals.
• Parameterize automation devices (inverters, sensors, servo drives).
• Work with PLC environments such as TIA Portal, TwinCAT, or Studio 5000.
• Participate in client line starts and collaborate with the project team.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in commissioned systems.
• Participate in FAT and prepare required documentation.
