Job summary

The Sostmeier Group in Poland is expanding its transport operations in Bieruń and seeks an experienced Transport Manager to lead the local team and drive operational excellence. You will work hands-on in a growing department to ensure high customer satisfaction and competitive service levels.

Responsibilities include team leadership, daily transport coordination, KPI-based process improvements, budgeting, and developing new customer relationships. Strong English and IT affinity are essential.

Qualifications

• A university degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent.
• Several years of practical experience in operational management of a transport department.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a team setting.
• Experience in developing new client business and preparing proposals.
• Good English skills and strong affinity for IT.

Responsibilities

• Functional and disciplinary management of your team.
• Involved in and collaborating on daily transport coordination; hands-on mentality.
• KPI-based management with focus on process improvements.
• Support and development of existing customers and participation in acquiring new ones.
• Preparation of quotes for new business.
