Job summary

WSI invites an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee manual and automated orbital TIG (GTAW) welding projects for piping systems within Europe. You will supervise field work, develop teams, and provide technical support during tender preparation, with hands-on welding expertise and programmatic setup.

The role requires independent process preparation, equipment programming, and knowledge transfer to colleagues. Travel up to 40% and a hybrid work model in Radom, Poland are expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, electrical, materials or welding engineering.
• Minimum three years in a similar project management role.
• Strong technical aptitude with project management experience.
• Proven ability to plan projects and manage costs.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with customers; nuclear/refining/mining sectors are a plus.
• Experience managing orders and subcontractors.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, including cost estimates and milestones.
• Ensure deliverables meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Lead projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Coordinate internal resources for effective project delivery.
• Monitor performance against quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Provide regular status updates on project progress.
• Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for customers.
• Contribute to business development through technical and commercial discussions.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to support repeat business and scope expansion.
• Act as main point of contact for customers throughout the project.
• Lead project reviews, including kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings.
• Oversee cost reconciliation and document closure; ensure records compliance.
• Oversee field execution with site visits and issue resolution.
• Manage orders and subcontractors as required by the project.
