Job summary

Valeo in Czechowice-Dziedzice is seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to develop and perform validation tests for hydraulic products, and to improve benches and measurement systems in our lab.

You will collaborate with project teams, report results, and ensure equipment meets safety standards; English and Polish proficiency is required, with automotive experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar automotive-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of mechatronics systems and measurement hardware.
• Good command of English and Polish for international teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform validation tests for hydraulic products and analyze results according to lab standards.
• Bench development: Develop and improve benches for validation tests.
• Measurement Systems: Manage measurement systems and data collection.
• Equipment Oversight: Validate laboratory equipment and ensure it meets technical and safety requirements.
• Problem Solving: Resolve equipment and product issues, supporting continuous improvement in the lab.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare technical reports and cooperate with project teams to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & Analysis: Develop and perform validation tests for hydraulic products and analyze results according to lab standards.
• Bench development: Develop and improve benches for validation tests.
• Measurement Systems: Perform MSA and manage sensors for data collection
• Equipment Oversight: Validate laboratory equipment and ensure it meets technical and safety requirements.
• Problem Solving: Resolve equipment and product issues, supporting continuous improvement in the lab.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare technical reports and cooperate with project teams to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical or similar.
• Experience: Min. 2 years in a similar role (Automotive preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechatronics systems, measurement hardware.
• Languages: Good English and Polish (working with international teams).

Nice to Have:

• Bus protocols (CAN/LIN) Vector tools (CANoe/CANape) LabView or DIAdem (National Instruments)
• Basic programming (Python/C)
