Job summary

Valeo in Poland invites a System Validation Engineer to join our automotive R&D team at the Czechowice-Dziedzice plant. You will lead system validation activities, develop test strategies and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automotive system engineering, strong CAN/LIN expertise, and proficiency in CAPL and Python, with fluent English and Polish. The role is full-time on-site with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.
• 3+ years in Automotive/Industrial System Engineering.
• Fluent English and Polish.
• CAN/LIN protocols knowledge and Vector tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers, PLA).
• Develop and manage Integration Test Scripts (functional & non-functional).
• Serve as System Validation Engineer (Sys Val) and support project team.
• Conduct full validation/verification and participate in bug analysis/fix.
• Shape R&D System Engineering Methodology per A-Spice standards.

At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions—including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers, PLA).

• Serving as the System Validation Engineer (Sys Val) for the team and provided support to the people assigned to the project
• Conduct full validation/verification and participate in the bug analysing/fixing process.
• Shape R&D System Engineering Methodology according to A-Spice standards.

Requirements:

• Degree: Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar).
• Exp: 3+ years in Automotive/Industrial System Engineering .
• Lab Skills: Oscilloscope, multimeter, electrical circuit reading.
• Communication: CAN/LIN protocols & Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape).
• Programming languages: CAPL, Python.
• Languages: Fluent English & Polish.

Nice to have:

• Standards: ISO 26262, A-Spice, or AUTOSAR .
• Tools: LabView, DOORS , or Codebeamer .
