Job summary

Valeo is seeking a System Validation Engineer at the Czechowice-Dziedzice plant to drive validation of Smart Actuators and Powertrain systems and to develop integration test scripts.

You will act as Sys Val for the team, perform full validation/verification, and contribute to R&D system engineering methodologies per A-Spice standards. Fluent English and Polish required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar.
• 3+ years in Automotive/Industrial System Engineering.
• Lab skills: Oscilloscope, multimeter, electrical circuit reading.
• Fluent English and Polish required; CAN/LIN protocols knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers).
• Develop and manage Integration Test Scripts (functional & non-functional).
• Serve as System Validation Engineer for the team and support project personnel.
• Conduct full validation/verification and participate in bug analysis/fixing.
• Shape R&D System Engineering Methodology per A-Spice standards.

At the Valeo plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, we manufacture powertrain systems that support fuel consumption reduction and lower emissions—including starters, air throttles, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, electromechanical actuators, and innovative electric drives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the launch of Smart Actuators & Powertrain System (eMotors, inverters, reducers, PLA).

• Develop and manage Integration Test Scripts (functional & non-functional).

• Serving as the System Validation Engineer (Sys Val) for the team and provided support to the people assigned to the project

• Conduct full validation/verification and participate in the bug analysing/fixing process.

• Shape R&D System Engineering Methodology according to A-Spice standards.

Requirements:

• Degree: Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar).

• Exp: 3+ years in Automotive/Industrial System Engineering.

• Lab Skills: Oscilloscope, multimeter, electrical circuit reading.

• Communication: CAN/LIN protocols & Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape).

• Programming languages: CAPL, Python.

• Languages: Fluent English & Polish.

Nice to have:

• Standards: ISO 26262, A-Spice, or AUTOSAR.

• Tools: LabView, DOORS , or Codebeamer.
