Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in Krakow is seeking a Test Lead to drive UAT and Quality Assurance across projects. You will partner with business and technology teams to verify that requirements are tested and documented, ensuring alignment with regulatory and client expectations.

In this hybrid role, you’ll coordinate test plans, approve test scripts, prepare data and environments, execute tests, and deliver test summaries.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of software testing experience.
• Financial services knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding testing phases and differences (integration vs UAT).
• Proficient with Windows apps and MS Office; familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in creation, execution of test plans, strategies and scripts.
• Approve test scripts to ensure business functionality and client requirements.
• Prepare test data and environments for testing.
• Execute test scripts with adherence to standards and quality controls.
• Complete documentation and provide Test Summary Reporting.
• Contribute to test-design walk-throughs and process improvements.

About the team:

As a Test Lead, you'll drive execution of UAT and Quality Assurance for projects to maintain and implement BBH's products and/or solutions. Your understanding of functional, regression, end-to-end, exploratory and Client testing, as well as conversion and implementation planning will enable you to multi-task in a fast-paced environment driven to works with the internal business areas to help ensure the correct business functionality, Client and technology requirements, and industry standards are tested within the envisioned solution. To be successful, you'll need to have experience in software testing, good understanding of design and testing phases, be proactive, eager to learn and team oriented.

In our team, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinate and participate in creation, ensure execution of test plan/test strategy/test scripts or scenarios for testing phase
• Approve scope of test scripts/scenarios to ensure business functionality, technology, industry standards and client requirements are met
• Prepare or ensure test data and environments are available
• Execute test scripts, ensuring adherence to standards and quality controls
• Independently completes all documentation and records associated with test execution, provide Test Summary Reporting
• Actively participates in problem solving by providing ideas and insightful solutions
• Participates in test-design and test-procedure walk through and audit inspections
• Contributes to test process improvements resulting from lessons learned

What we're looking for:

• Degree, and/or equivalent work experience
• 3-5-year related software testing experience
• Financial services industry knowledge and experience a plus
• Understanding various testing phases, knowing the differences between integration and user acceptance testing etc.
• Working knowledge of Windows based applications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to recognize one's own strengths and limitations, taking appropriate initiative to pursue development activities and seek assistance as needed
• Analytical, attention to details and problem-solving skills to assess information through research and analysis
• Ability to quickly grasp and master job responsibilities, including new business knowledge and technical information
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and issues, while knowing when to escape
