Job summary

Dell Technologies in Lodz is seeking a Test Senior Engineer to join the Test Engineering team. You will analyze, introduce and manage sophisticated production test for our platforms, collaborating with global teams and reporting results to development engineers and leadership.

Essential qualifications include 3–5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree and strong skills in BASH, PowerShell, Python, VBA, Windows/Linux, BIOS/firmware, and AI/LLMs. Fluency in Polish and English is desirable.

• Experience with Windows/Linux, BIOS/firmware, and device drivers.
• Understanding of hardware/software interactions and infrastructure.
• Practical knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

As a Test Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for analysis, introduction and manage sophisticated production test for our platforms, working with other technologists and our worldwide test team to build best solutions. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership.

• Design, develop and implement troubleshooting effective methods for systems and equipment.

Essential Requirements

• Validated knowledge of programming skills in BASH, PowerShell, Python, VBA, operating systems: Windows/Linux, firmware: BIOS, device drivers, network, application administration, embedded software/firmware.
• Ability to code/debug more sophisticated programs using either written or verbal design specifications.
• Knowledge of hardware and software interactions and infrastructure and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues.
• Practical knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

• 3–5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.

Desirable Requirements

• Excellent teamwork and high communication skills (Polish & English languages).
• Learning attitude, capability to influence others to achieve results, problem solving approach, can-do mindset, and experience in explaining complicated technical aspects to a non-technical audience.
