Job summary

GFT Technologies SE is seeking an experienced QA lead to own quality assurance across mobile, API, and UI layers on customer-facing software projects. You will define testing strategies, coordinate manual and automated testing, and collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment.

You will mentor junior QA members, support automation initiatives, and drive quality improvements across the release process.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of commercial experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience creating test strategies and plans.
• Hands-on mobile, API, and UI testing experience.
• Experience with test automation frameworks/tools.
• Experience working with clients and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Polish.

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 15000 - 23000 PLN gross

What will you do?

You will join a customer-facing software project and take ownership of quality assurance activities across mobile, API, and UI layers. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to define testing strategies, identify risks, improve QA processes, and ensure high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

Your tasks

• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and QA approaches


• Analyze requirements and identify testing scope and quality risks


• Execute and coordinate manual and automated testing activities


• Perform mobile, API, and UI testing


• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on quality-related topics


• Prepare test documentation, reports, and quality metrics


• Support automation strategy and framework improvements


• Drive quality initiatives and recommend mitigation actions

• Cooperate with cross-functional

Your skills

• Experience in release management processes, including release planning and coordination from a quality perspective, defining entry/exit criteria and quality gates, managing test environment readiness across the release path, and supporting Go/No-Go decisions


• At least 7 years of commercial experience in software testing and quality assurance


• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and quality assurance best practices


• Hands-on experience with mobile, API, and UI testing


• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies and test plans


• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders


• Ability to define testing scope, assess quality risks, and recommend mitigation actions


• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills


• Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python


• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools


• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile development practices


• Experience with Git Experience with JIRA and test management tools


• Experience creating test documentation, reports, and quality metrics


• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality decisions


• Experience mentoring junior team members


• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• Experience with Appium Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress

• Practical experience with TDD and BDD


• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
