Job summary

GFT Technologies SE in Poznań is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute test strategies for mobile, API, and UI applications. You will create plans and test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and report defects to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders, contribute to automation efforts, improve frameworks, and support QA throughout the SDLC in a hybrid work environment with two office days per week.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of various testing techniques and the ability to apply them in practice.
• Hands-on experience across mobile, API, and UI testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic programming experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with automation and/or performance testing tools.
• Desire to build and evolve automation and development skills.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle processes and QA methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with JIRA and other defect tracking tools.
• Experience creating test documentation and test reports.
• Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken.

Type of contract: Employment contract

Salary range: 12800 - 19600 PLN gross

What will you do?

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across mobile, API, and UI applications. You will create test plans and test cases, perform manual and automated testing, analyze defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Working closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders, you will contribute to test automation initiatives, improve testing frameworks, and help drive quality across the software development lifecycle.

Your tasks

• Practical experience with TDD/BDD
• Good knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Experience with API automation tools such as REST Assured and Postman/Newman
