Job summary

emagine is seeking an experienced QA Specialist for a long-term banking project in Poland. The role is a hybrid position based in Gdynia/Warsaw with 2 days per week in the office.

You will drive QA activities, design tests, and ensure high-quality software for an international Agile team. Requirements include ISTQB certification, 8+ years in QA, web/mobile testing, API testing with Postman/Swagger, and familiarity with BrowserStack, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and well-documented QA activities according to Quality Standards.
• Analyze and design new tests (Test Cases/Scenarios).
• Plan and execute tests.
• Report defects and manage their lifecycle.
• Recommend appropriate actions based on test results.
• Collaborate closely with automation testers for optimal regression coverage and test suites.
• Work actively within the scrum team to secure high-quality deliveries.

Must Haves:

• ISTQB Certification.
• Proven ability to drive and support QA activities across delivery teams.
• Keen attention to detail, quality, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in an international environment.
• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in Agile teams.
• Experienced in defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems.
• Experience in web and mobile testing.
• Familiarity with testing applications on cloud-based platforms (e.g., BrowserStack).
• Expertise in system testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile).
• Proficient in API testing using Postman and Swagger.
• Experience with test management tools (preferably qTest or similar).
• Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Haves:
