They are seeking an experienced Test Manager to join their team in Kraków. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on complex Straight-Through Processing applications within an agile environment, leading testing strategy and execution for systems that process high-value financial transactions.

Position Overview

As Test Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of STP applications that form the backbone of post-trade processing operations. You'll lead testing activities within agile squads, working closely with developers, business analysts and solution architects to deliver robust, compliant solutions. Your work will directly impact the stability and performance of systems handling critical financial transactions, including SWIFT messaging and settlement processes. This position offers the chance to apply your testing expertise in a highly regulated financial services environment where quality and precision are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for STP applications
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test data aligned with business requirements
• Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and solution architects to ensure quality delivery
• Monitor test execution, document defects and drive timely resolution
• Ensure traceability between test cases and requirements throughout the testing lifecycle
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Support production validation activities and post-deployment testing
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and agile performance metrics
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, security protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on financial services
• Expertise in agile testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JUnit and TestNG
• Experience with CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Git
• Strong knowledge of test management including planning, execution and defect management
• Domain expertise in Straight-Through Processing and SWIFT messaging systems
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail and Zephyr
• SQL skills for data validation and test data management
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Understanding of compliance standards including GDPR, CSDR and ISO frameworks
• Knowledge of middleware testing including Kafka and IBM MQ
• Basic understanding of .NET or Java programming
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or ServiceNow
• Awareness of security testing practices including OWASP principles
• Experience with knowledge transfer planning and documentation handover
• Fluent English communication skills (French or Dutch is an asset)
