Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a Senior Test Manager / QA Lead to drive QA across a large-scale international banking program. You will lead QA activities across multiple teams in an Agile environment, shaping testing strategy and ensuring high-quality releases.

This role emphasizes end-to-end testing, test automation, data governance, and QA maturity in a Scandinavian culture. Hybrid work with offices in Poland and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a QA leadership, Test Manager, or QA Lead role.
• Proven experience leading QA teams of various sizes.
• Extensive experience with functional and non-functional testing, System/Integration/E2E testing.
• Test automation initiatives and test data management; QA governance and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience creating dashboards and executive-level testing reports.
• Nice to have: Spark, Scala; DevOps, CI/CD; mainframe environments; AI-driven testing.

Responsibilities

Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager / QA Lead to lead and coordinate quality assurance activities within a large-scale international banking project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliveries across multiple teams, driving complex testing initiatives, and fostering the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices within a dynamic Agile environment. Working closely with stakeholders across different countries and disciplines, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities you’ll have

Lead and coordinate QA activities across the Agile Release Train (ART)

Ensure all required types and levels of testing are planned, executed, documented, and reported

Define, manage, and execute QA and test management activities covering both functional and non-functional testing

Drive integration and End-to-End (E2E) testing efforts across multiple Scrum teams

Collaborate closely with ART leadership, Product Management, Architects, Release Management, Business stakeholders, and Scrum Teams to align testing priorities

Develop and continuously improve testing strategies, approaches, methodologies, and best practices

Ensure readiness and availability of test environments, test data, and other critical testing enablers

Identify testing skill gaps and support team development through coaching and mentoring

Contribute to release readiness assessments and provide quality metrics and recommendations for release sign-offs

Monitor test progress, quality risks, dependencies, and impediments, escalating when necessary

Ensure delivery of sufficient test evidence before production releases

Coordinate testing schedules in alignment with release and deployment plans

Drive continuous improvements in test automation coverage, KPIs, maintenance, and operational efficiency

Communicate testing status, quality risks, and improvement initiatives to both technical and business stakeholders

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong domain knowledge within the financial sector, preferably in mortgage lending/home financing
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QA leadership, Test Manager, or QA Lead role
• Proven experience leading and coaching QA teams of various sizes
• Extensive experience with:
  • Functional and non-functional testing
  • System, Integration, and End-to-End testing
  • Test automation initiatives
  • Test environment and test data management
  • QA governance and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to manage testing activities throughout the complete project lifecycle
• Experience creating dashboards, status reports, and executive-level presentations related to testing and quality
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Understanding of complex legacy system environments
