Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) is seeking a Testing Lead to oversee validation of data pipelines, BI, and AI solutions. You will guide test strategies, ensure data quality, and collaborate with enterprise teams on testing standards aligned with governance.

This role requires strong English, a CS/engineering degree, and 3+ years leading testing efforts. You will work across Warsaw and Gdansk in a hybrid setup, with opportunities for remote work, ongoing training, and participation

How you will get the job done

• overseeing application and analytics testing, providing direction on testing tools, testing case documentation, and executing of test plans
• designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for data pipelines, analytics models, and AI solutions
• executing hands-on testing to validate new product/project enhancements, particularly in data, BI, and Advanced Analytics environments
• supporting project teams in setting up detailed and effective test cases for Lakehouse, Data Warehouse (DWH), and Analytics platforms
• leading regression and performance testing of existing solutions (analytics platforms, AI models)
• producing reliable assessments of software and data solution readiness, including AI model validation and accuracy testing
• designing and implementing Test Data Management solutions based on defined frameworks
• supporting the implementation of automated testing solutions for operational efficiencies in data pipelines and analytics
• participating in design and testing sessions across enterprise teams
• updating and maintaining overall test concept with strong focus on test strategy aligned with data governance principles
• reviewing third-party high-level designs and implementations to ensure quality and consistency with testing standards
• establishing testing standards and patterns for how Munich Re deploys analytics and AI solutions in a standard and repeatable way
• requesting and managing test environments (Monitoring, Incident Management, Change Management) and overseeing setup of new environments
• providing subject matter expertise in troubleshooting data quality, system integration, and analytics issues
• conveying technical findings and recommendations to product development and business teams with clarity and impact
• collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with strategic objectives

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent command of English
• university degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field
• min. 3 years of experience managing testing team members and executing test plans
• familiarity with testing methodologies, test case documentation, and execution of custom-developed applications
• technical expertise with query-based database tools and relational SQL databases
• proven expertise with Databricks and Azure Cloud Services, and experience in driving automated testing initiatives, will be a strong plus
• knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies and processes work collaboratively in a team environment
• excellent communication and presentation skills
