Job summary

Aristocrat Interactive is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create and edit technical documents and manuals. You will work with product teams to ensure accuracy of product descriptions and maintain a robust documentation library.

Responsibilities include gathering information from product managers, organizing content for various document types, and standardizing material across platforms. Strong API documentation experience and attention to detail are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing and editing of software documentation for global software companies.
• Proficiency in MadCap Flare --Advantage.
• Good to high knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Ability to communicate with product owners to understand products and documentation.
• Experience with Single Sourcing Documentation – Advantage.
• Experience documenting APIs - Advantage.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent writing competence (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and timely delivery of quality documentation.
• Fluent written and verbal English (Mother tongue – Advantage).

• Study product samples and gather information from product managers and developers.
• Analyze, organize and compile the information into different document types (product/feature descriptions, user guides, release notes, etc).
• Standardize content across platforms and media.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation.
