Job summary

Thinkproject is seeking a Solution Specialist (f/m/d) to support clients in their digitalization journey for construction projects. You will implement tailored technical solutions, configure applications, and collaborate with consultants to ensure project success.

Fluent French and English are mandatory, and you will work with SQL Server, Oracle, PowerShell, XML and Microsoft technologies on Windows Server/IIS platforms in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Aptitude and ability to understand and configure software solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to document procedures accurately.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in solution implementation and support.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with construction industry processes and terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Application configuration and installation: configure the application and manage the installation process.
• Implementation of technical solutions: implement tailored technical solutions according to customer needs.
• Testing and quality assurance: test the customized solutions from a user’s perspective and document procedures.
• Issue tracking and solution improvement: track issues and work with development teams to improve solutions.
• Support in solution design: collaborate to help design customized technical solutions.
• Solution modification and troubleshooting: make necessary changes and extensions; act as technical resource for consulting teams.
• Technical documentation: create and maintain technical documentation.
• Complex support resolution: handle complex support requests with the teams.

The Solution Specialist (f/m/d) plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and project success by supporting clients in their digitalization journey for construction projects. They contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions that meet customer requirements and drive efficiency and productivity.

Main Responsibilities

• Application configuration and installation: Configure the application (data model, modules, settings, etc.) and manage the installation process to ensure it aligns with customer requirements.
• Implementation of technical solutions: Implement tailored technical solutions according to customer needs and specifications.
• Testing and quality assurance: Test the customized solutions from a user’s perspective and document the testing procedures to ensure thorough quality assurance.
• Issue tracking and solution improvement: Track, document, and manage customer issues, work with development teams to find quick solutions, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the solution’s quality.
• Support in solution design: Collaborate with the responsible Consultant to help design customized technical solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
• Solution modification and troubleshooting: Collaborate with the responsible Consultant to make necessary changes and extensions to the implemented solutions, addressing any issues that arise during the project.Technical advisor for consulting teams: Act as a key technical resource for the Consulting teams, providing valuable insights and expertise to support their work.
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation that supports the project and ensures a clear record of processes and decisions.
• Complex support resolution: Handle and resolve complex support requests in collaboration with the support teams, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

What you need to fulfill the role

• Fluent French and English Language skills are mandatory
• Prerequisite:
  • databases SQL Server, Oracle, scripting PowerShell
  • Microsoft technologies Windows Server, IIS, COM+, etc.
