Job summary

Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to build influential relationships with customers and partners and to match Arrow’s solutions to customer needs.

In this hybrid role, you will drive new opportunities, schedule visits to customer facilities, and stay current on product knowledge while contributing to demand creation and engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 5 years of experience in the electronics industry.
• Innovative and proactive business development approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with influencing ability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers, and Arrow partners to create demand for Arrow products.
• Identify technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects and match Arrow’s solutions to customer business needs.
• Drive and create new opportunities and product selection within assigned accounts, using other technical resources as needed.
• Initiate and schedule regular visits to customer facilities, understand customer needs, and translate them into Arrow requirements or business opportunities.
• Execute solution selling through knowledge of Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes, focusing on demand creation and engineering.
• Stay current on product knowledge and related technologies, attend supplier training events, and maintain supplier databases and design registration information.
