Shiji is a global technology company providing hospitality solutions. We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive frontend and backend development for a distributed platform used by hotels, restaurants, and services.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with Product Owners, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery while shaping the architecture with DDD, CQRS and event-sourcing patterns.

Formación

• Minimum 6 years' experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring and growing cross-functional development teams.
• Strong project management skills with ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time.
• Experience managing Agile/Scrum teams and facilitating ceremonies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural and strategic decisions.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of frontend and backend developers.
• Conducting 1-on-1 meetings, performance reviews and career development planning.
• Building and maintaining a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Managing team capacity, workload distribution and sprint commitments.
• Planning and coordinating project deliverables with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Managing project timelines, risks and dependencies.
• Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, performant solutions.
• Reporting project status and metrics to management.
• Coordinating with other teams in multi-region cloud environment.
• Defining and maintaining architecture standards for both frontend and backend.
• Making key technical decisions regarding technology stack and architectural patterns.
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews and establishing coding standards.
