Job summary

Shiji Group, a global software provider for hospitality and retail, is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join its Daylight PMS team. You will extend and maintain infrastructure as code, manage deployments of microservices, and support AWS/Kubernetes/ECS operations in a collaborative agile environment.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins), incident response, and close work with developers to ensure performance, reliability, and rapid delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year experience in similar position and minimum 5 years of experience in IT industry.
• Good experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Good experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience in implementing IaC using Terraform.
• Experience with AWS networking and security.
• Experience with shell scripting (bash and/or PowerShell).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Proactive attitude and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Extending and maintaining existing infrastructure of Shiji products using infrastructure as code approach.
• Using CI/CD tools and scripts to create automatic application deployments for microservices.
• Helping developers in daily activities related to tools maintenance and AWS/Kubernetes/ECS operations.
• Working in collaborative and iterative software development process with agile teams.
