Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Tech QA Manager to lead the Tech QA team on the Polaris project, The Witcher 4, based in Warsaw. You will translate the project QA strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.

You will build a high-performing team, ensure milestone verification, monitor quality status and risks, and collaborate with Production, Development, QA Experts, and cross-functional teams to support engine and tools quality and the development pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading or managing Tech QA teams.
• 5+ years direct performance management & career development.
• 5+ years experience in game development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, bug workflows, test planning & reporting.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or in-house engine and editor tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Tech QA team with accountability and growth.
• Adapt Polaris QA strategy into practical testing approaches and priorities.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification to meet technical quality standards.
• Monitor quality metrics and bug trends to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with development, production, QA vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Provide transparent, data-driven quality reporting to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in QA workflows, tools, and documentation.
• Provide hands-on technical support for complex investigations when needed.
