Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a Tech Lead Fullstack Engineer (Java & React) to drive digital transformation on large-scale financial platforms in Kraków. Hybrid work arrangement and a competitive package await the right candidate.

You will design microservices in Java/Spring Boot, build frontend with React/TypeScript, and deploy on Kubernetes, while integrating PostgreSQL and Kafka. Strong testing, CI/CD, and AI tooling experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+.
• Experience designing and developing microservices-based architectures.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and Kafka.
• Experience with AI engineering tools such as GHCP CLI and understanding of Generative AI concepts.
• Experience with automated testing using JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers or similar tools.

What will you do?

You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations. The role focuses on digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization in a highly regulated environment. You will contribute across both backend and frontend development while leveraging modern cloud-native technologies, AI engineering tools, and DevOps practices.

• Design and develop scalable microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain modern frontend solutions using React and TypeScript
• Implement and optimize integrations with PostgreSQL and Kafka
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Develop and maintain automated tests ensuring application quality and reliability
• Deploy and support applications running on Kubernetes platforms
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Participate in application modernization and process automation initiatives
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions
• Utilize AI engineering tools to improve development efficiency
• Strong backend development experience using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+
