Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a Senior Java Consultant to help drive digital transformation in large-scale financial platforms. You will design backend services with Java 17+, build microservices, and integrate PostgreSQL and Kafka while leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform in a hybrid Kraków-based role.

You’ll work on cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and AI tooling within a regulated environment, collaborating with stakeholders to modernize applications and automate processes.

Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+
Experience with microservices-based architectures
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
Experience with Kafka
Strong knowledge of Azure services
Experience with Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Databricks
Practical experience with AI engineering tools including GHCP CLI
Understanding of Generative AI concepts and frontier models
Domain knowledge of Stock Borrow Loan business
Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers or similar testing frameworks
Understanding of structured context in codebases such as AGENTS.md and skills
Experience with Helm

What will you do?

You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations. The role focuses on digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization in a highly regulated environment while leveraging modern cloud technologies, microservices, and AI engineering tools.
