Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking a Team Lead Fullstack Engineer in Kraków. You will lead a technology team focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management solutions, designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade applications with strong Java/Spring backend and React/TypeScript frontend where needed.

You will mentor the team, drive end-to-end features, ensure production readiness, and collaborate in Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• 2+ years of technical team leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring technologies.
• Hands-on with microservices architecture and micro-databases.
• Experience with ReactJS and TypeScript front-end delivery.
• Experience creating API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong testing practices with JUnit and mocks.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in Agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end features across backend and front-end components.

Team Lead Fullstack Engineer

Salary range: 17400-26700 PLN gross

What will you do?

Join a technology team within Risk & Compliance focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management solutions. You will design, build, and support enterprise-grade applications with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and Spring technologies while contributing to React and TypeScript front-end delivery when required. The role combines hands-on engineering, solution design, technical leadership, and close collaboration with Agile delivery teams to build resilient, scalable, and production-ready platforms.

• Design, build, and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring
• Create solution designs and technical documentation including UML diagrams
• Deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend components
• Implement microservices and micro-database architectures with clear API contracts
• Build integrations using event-driven architecture patterns
• Develop workflow-driven capabilities using BPMN-based solutions
• Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, resilience, and error handling
• Develop and maintain batch processing solutions
• Drive software quality through automated testing and code scanning
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and delivery guidance to team members
