Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH in Wroclaw is seeking a Tax Services Team Manager to lead the Accounting-to-Reporting function across markets, driving operational excellence, standardization, and innovation in direct and indirect tax.

You will build high-performing teams, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, ensure compliant tax data, and develop scalable processes while fostering development and a strong service culture.

Qualifications

• You should have a Master’s degree in finance and accountancy with a tax focus.
• You should have 5+ years of professional experience in tax or a comparable role in an international company.
• 2+ years of people management experience is required.
• Broad taxation knowledge across direct and indirect taxes and tax reporting is needed.
• Strong SAP know-how, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tax services team across countries, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Coordinate work preparation for tax compliance activities such as data gathering and reconciliations.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax topics including CIT, WHT, VAT and Tax Accounting.
• Drive standardization and process improvement in taxation processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and coach team members to build a high-performing tax function.
• Act as key interface for internal stakeholders and business representatives.
