Job summary

Allegro Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Technology Recruitment Team on a fixed-term contract of at least 12 months. You will own end-to-end recruitment for technology roles, proactively source top talent, and partner with Hiring Managers to deliver great hires.

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Technology Recruitment Team on a fixed-term contract to cover an absence (for at least 12 months). We're looking for someone who can confidently own end-to-end recruitment processes, proactively source technical talent and act as a trusted partner to Hiring Managers. Someone who understands that great recruitment is not just about filling positions, but also about understanding the business, challenging assumptions and finding the right solutions.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning End-to-End Recruitment: Independently managing recruitment processes for a variety of technology roles, from understanding hiring needs to selecting the right candidates.
• Sourcing & Engaging Tech Talent: Proactively identifying, approaching, and building relationships with technical professionals using creative sourcing strategies and tools.
• Conducting Recruitment Interviews: Leading competency-based interviews, assessing candidates' experience, motivation, and fit for the role.
• Partnering with the Business: Working closely with Hiring Managers, understanding their business challenges, advising on talent availability, and helping them make informed hiring decisions.
• Leveraging AI & Technology: Using AI-powered tools and modern recruitment technologies to improve sourcing, streamline processes, and work smarter.
• Creating a Great Candidate Experience: Ensuring transparent, engaging, and professional communication throughout the recruitment journey.
• Driving Recruitment Excellence: Monitoring recruitment metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and bringing fresh ideas to the team.

This role is right for you if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, ideally within Technology or IT.
• A genuine passion for technology: You understand the tech landscape, are curious about emerging technologies, and enjoy learning about different technical roles.
• Hands-on sourcing experience: You're confident using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing techniques to find and engage candidates.
• Strong interviewing skills: You have experience independently conducting recruitment interviews and assessing candidates' competencies and motivations.
• Business understanding: You can look beyond a job description, understand what Hiring Managers really need, and act as a trusted recruitment advisor.
• AI awareness and practical knowledge: You're familiar with AI tools and understand how they can support and improve recruitment processes.
• Ownership and independence: You know how to prioritize, manage multiple recruitment processes, and take responsibility for delivering results.
• A collaborative mindset: You enjoy sharing knowledge, supporting teammates, and working towards common goals.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach: When a search gets challenging, you explore new approaches rather than waiting for things to happen.
