Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. in Kraków seeks a proactive Tactical Buyer to strengthen procurement, supplier management, and continuity of supply. You will negotiate, issue purchase orders, and drive cost-saving initiatives while coordinating with internal teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of procurement experience, ERP exposure such as SAP or Oracle, and advanced Excel skills in a dynamic office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience with suppliers and day-to-day procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Good commercial awareness and cost-structure understanding.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficient in business English.
• Detail-oriented in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, and services aligning with cost, quality, and delivery.
• Manage operational and tactical sourcing to ensure continuity of supply.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service conditions to maximize value.
• Monitor supplier performance and participate in evaluations.
• Analyze spending, supplier data, and market trends for risks and opportunities.
• Create and manage purchase orders, schedules, and procurement docs in ERP.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on projects and sourcing activities.
• Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies while driving improvements.
