Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Kraków seeks a proactive Tactical Buyer to support continuity of supply, cost optimization, and supplier performance. You will handle purchasing of goods, materials, and services, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships within ERP systems.

The role requires at least 3 years in procurement, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and fluent business English. Office presence is required at least one day per week to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Business English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, and services meeting cost/quality/delivery goals.
• Manage operational and tactical sourcing for continuity of supply.
• Build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize value and savings.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct evaluations.
• Analyze spend and market data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Create and manage purchase orders and procurement docs in ERP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Resolve supplier issues on delivery, quality, pricing, invoices.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and drive continuous improvement.
