Job summary

Alfa is seeking a Systems Engineer (Technical Operations) to join our Global Technical Operations group in a project‑driven role. You will manage cloud infrastructure, including AWS and VMware, and take ownership of the Okta platform with internal integrations.

The role emphasizes design, testing, and documented changes rather than ticket queue firefighting. You’ll collaborate across global offices, advise on capacity planning, and contribute to a well‑structured, scalable cloud strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a systems engineering, infrastructure or IT operations role.
• Degree-level technical IT knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, VMware, Okta, Azure/M365, Active Directory, Exchange, Google Workspace or Splunk is desirable.
• Okta identity management beyond basic use, with integrations to internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure and integrations, including AWS and VMware environments.
• Build and extend Okta integrations with internal systems (e.g., HRIS).
• Improve services, implement new ones, and maintain a well‑managed cloud platform.
• Handle operational escalations from Service Desk and plan capacity and scale.
