Job summary

Ericsson Poland is seeking a Test Engineer to maintain high software quality. You will perform System Test across capacity, maintainability, robustness, and stability; investigate issues and collaborate to improve test environments. Strong knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, and containerization is required.

Hybrid role in Krakow: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home weekly. The position expects 2+ years in testing, ISTQB knowledge, and English and Polish language skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software quality, testing process, types of tests, product lifecycle, bug reporting (ISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification advantage).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manual or automated testing.
• Very good knowledge of IP systems/networks; essential IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment.
• At least 2 years of Unix/Linux experience and knowledge of GIT.
• Knowledge of containerization and usage of Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Agile project methodologies and tools (JIRA & Confluence).
• Good knowledge of telecommunication systems (3G, 4G, 5G) would be an advantage.
• Analytical thinking, fast learner, collaboration, and strong communication skills.
• Education: Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least B2 Polish and English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Results-oriented, creative, and analytical mindset.

• Willing to work in hybrid model in our office in Krakow. This is a hybrid model role - 3 days from the office and 2 days from home weekly.
