Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a test engineer to join an international BEV project. You will analyze requirements, design HIL test strategies, and execute verification tests for power electronics inverters and key vehicle components.

You will work with an international team, aligning ASPICE processes, and collaborating across countries. The role requires English fluency, willingness to travel, and flexibility for second shifts in Kraków.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits.
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN.
  • Good knowledge of C and Python; basic MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape models.
  • Familiarity with CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, and Jira.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and SIL testing is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; German/French a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Openness to second-shift working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system and design requirements and translate into test strategies and test cases per ASPICE.
  • Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification.
  • Design and execute System Qualification Tests, HW-SW Integration Tests, System Element Integration Tests.
  • Perform test execution, analyze results, ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Identify, document and track hardware and software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
  • Support release activities by preparing release verification tests and test summary reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes.

Project

Join an international engineering team developing next-generation Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) solutions. In this role, you'll work on testing power electronics inverters and other key vehicle components using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, collaborating with experts across multiple countries and disciplines.

Responsibilities you'll have

Expected competences and knowledge
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN
  • Good knowledge of C and Python, with a basic understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models
  • Familiarity with the following tools is preferred: CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, ControlDesk NG, ConfigurationDesk NG, Jira, Polarion, Plastic SCM, and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is considered an advantage
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing will be a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English is required; German and/or French would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
