Job summary

Jit Team in Kraków seeks a System Infrastructure Engineer for the PowerDrive Systems unit. You will develop system infrastructure functions for HV inverters and electrified powertrains, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive system concept development throughout the product lifecycle.

We require a Master’s in automotive/electrical engineering, 10+ years’ automotive systems experience, ISO 26262 knowledge, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in automotive system development (HV Inverters / electrified powertrains).
• Strong systems engineering: architecture, requirements, integration, verification, validation.
• ISO 26262 Functional Safety and HV Safety knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with automotive customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own development and delivery of system infrastructure functions for HV inverters and electrified powertrains.
• Develop system concepts and requirements considering quality, performance, cost, timing, and customer expectations.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate Hardware, Software, Calibration, Safety, and Test teams.

• Support Functional Safety activities per ISO 26262.
• Report technical status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Participate in customer meetings and travel up to 25%.

Project

We are looking for a System Infrastucture Engineer to join the PowerDrive Systems business unit, responsible for delivering hybrid and full electric vehicle solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of system infrastructure functions for HV inverters and electrified powertrains, as well as system concept development, customer communication, and coordination across multiple engineering disciplines. You will work closely with Hardware, Software, Calibration, Safety, and Test teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, driving technical discussions, supporting functional safety activities, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring system-level robustness and high-quality solutions.

Expected Competences And Knowledge

• Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in automotive system development, preferably with HV Inverters, Power Electronics, or Electrified Powertrain Systems
• Strong Systems Engineering background, including system architecture, requirements development, integration, verification, and validation
• Expertise in HV inverter infrastructure functions and knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety and HV Safety
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Experience working with automotive customers and cross-functional teams
• Experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, and MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage
• Fluent English communication skills (German is a plus)
