Job summary

Jit Team is seeking a Software Engineer – SIL Infrastructure Development to design, build, and maintain a Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment for AUTOSAR-based embedded software stacks. The role supports early-stage integration and continuous development of automotive systems, focusing on infrastructure rather than test execution.

You will develop virtual ECUs, interface with plant models and test automation tools, and collaborate to define simulation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years engineering experience in embedded systems, software development, or simulation.
  • Proficiency in C for embedded software development.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR architecture.
  • Ability to work with version control systems (Git).
  • Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Project

As a Software Engineer – SIL Infrastructure Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment used for virtual validation of embedded software stacks based on the AUTOSAR architecture. The project supports early-stage integration and continuous development of automotive systems. This is a development-focused role centered on building and evolving the SIL infrastructure. While collaboration with testing teams is encouraged, the primary responsibility is infrastructure development rather than the execution of test campaigns.

Responsibilities You’ll Have
  • Develop and integrate virtual ECUs for SIL environment, based on AUTOSAR architecture
  • Build interfaces between the SIL environment and plant models, communication buses, and test automation tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute simulation strategies
  • Optimize simulation performance and fidelity for large-scale system integration
  • Analyze and debug SIL infrastructure issues
  • Document architecture, workflows, and usage guidelines for internal teams
Expected competences and knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years engineering experience in embedded systems, software development, or simulation
  • Proficiency in C for embedded software development

  • Understanding of communication protocols such as CAN and LIN, including signal-level behavior (Tx/Rx)
  • Exposure to AUTOSAR configuration artifacts like ARXML, A2L, and NVM definitions
  • Familiarity with build systems (e.g. Make, CMake) and cross-compilation for host execution
