Job summary

DCG is seeking a System Engineer for Legacy Application C/C++ in Poland. You will design, develop and maintain C and C++ microservices supporting credit risk and related products, building APIs and engines to comply with regulations across countries.

You will work through the full SDLC in an Agile Scrum environment, translating business requirements into solid technical solutions with a strong emphasis on code quality and VOI.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ and knowledge of XML.
• Experience with unit, component, integration, and system testing.
• Familiarity with design patterns, OOP, and SOLID principles.
• Proficient in Visual Studio and using GitHub Copilot.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C/C++ microservices for credit risk and related apps.

System Engineer for Legacy Application C/C++

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain C and C++ microservices supporting credit risk, recommendation, and credit scoring products
• Build robust APIs and calculation engines supporting compliance with credit scoring and recommendation regulations across multiple countries
• Develop solutions for complex business processes and integrations with credit authorities
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work within an Agile Scrum team environment

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency and in-depth knowledge of C and C++
• Good knowledge of mapping, code flow, and XML
• Understanding of unit, component, integration, and system testing concepts
• Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and SOLID principles
• Familiarity with Visual Studio
• Practical knowledge of package building and .exe file creation
• Experience using GitHub Copilot
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Domain knowledge of credit
• Experience in the banking or financial sector
• Basic knowledge of Finnish
