Job summary

Optiveum is seeking a C/C++ System Engineer to join a banking sector client. You will design and develop C and C++ microservices, APIs and calculation engines for credit risk and scoring products, across multiple countries.

The role is a hybrid, full-time (40 h/week) position with 75% remote work in Poland. Fluent Polish and English are required for collaboration with cross-country teams.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ with practical debugging skills.

C/C++ System Engineer

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a C/C++ System Engineer to join the team of our client from the banking sector. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

You will design and develop C and C++ microservices behind credit risk, recommendation and credit scoring products, building APIs and calculation engines that keep these products compliant with credit regulations across several countries.

Key Details:

• Rate: up to 150 PLN/h net + VAT

• Work Model: B2B contract, full-time (40 h/week), hybrid – 75% remote

• Location: Warsaw or Łódź

• Languages: Fluent Polish and English

Responsibilities:

• Work within an agile Scrum team

• Design, develop and maintain C and C++ microservices supporting credit risk, recommendation and credit scoring products

• Build robust APIs and calculation engines that ensure compliance with credit scoring and recommendation regulations across multiple countries

• Develop support for complex business processes, including integrations with credit authorities

• Take part in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and design through coding, testing and deployment

• Work with business analysts to turn business requirements into technical solutions

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency and in-depth knowledge of C and C++

• Strong debugging skills

• Good knowledge of mapping, code flow and XML

• Understanding of unit, component, integration and system testing

• Understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming and SOLID principles

• Experience with Visual Studio
