Sii Poland is seeking an experienced System Analyst to work on banking projects, focusing on front-end and back-end changes within a modular architecture. You will analyze business needs, define requirements, and collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver reliable credit-processing solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in system analysis for banking IT, strong UML/BPMN skills, and familiarity with Enterprise Architect. Poland-based role in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in system analysis or business-system analysis.
• Experience in UML and BPMN modeling.
• Knowledge of REST, Kafka, and WSO2 integrations.
• Banking IT projects experience and relational databases.
• Polish fluency and willingness to work in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Prepare business and system analysis for banking applications.
• Define business requirements with business units and validate user stories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers and testers to ensure quality.

Job description

Join our team of system analysts working on projects in areas such as investments, domestic and international payments, mortgages, and everyday banking. We are currently focusing on the development and restructuring of key credit processes - both on the front-end and back-end. We are working on a new modular architecture, gradually moving away from the old application and building solutions that will be the foundation of corporate banking for the coming years.

Your tasks

• Preparation of business and system analysis for banking applications
• Collaboration with business units to define business requirements
• Gathering and analyzing requirements, as well as preparing and validating user stories
• Collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and testers in the development of applications and ensuring their quality
• Coordination of tasks between IT teams regarding the implemented functionality, responsibility for delivering functionality
• Modeling functionality (UML or BPMN) according to the accepted standard
• Maintaining and managing functional documentation for implemented deployments
• Working with the team's backlog
• Supporting applications in the testing environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in system analysis or business-system analysis
• Ability to create and read UML, BPMN models
• Practical experience with Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of communication between systems (REST, KAFKA, WSO2)
• Experience in projects related to the development of IT systems in the banking industry
• Familiarity with relational databases
• Technical higher education - computer science or related fields
• Required to be located in Poland and fluent in Polish
