Job summary

OPmobility seeks a Supply Chain Engineer – Internal Flows to optimize and digitalize internal logistics across battery and ICE manufacturing, aiming at improved material flow efficiency and standardized processes. The role spans design, implementation of digital tools, and KPI-driven performance monitoring.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance and IT to align logistics strategies and support change management within internal logistics teams,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing, with exposure to battery and/or ICE operations.
• Proven experience in internal logistics optimization, process improvement, and digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, MES, IoT technologies, data analytics tools, and KPI management.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, and project management methodologies.

Job Overview

The Supply Chain Engineer – Internal Flows is responsible for optimizing and digitalizing internal logistics processes across battery (electrification) and ICE manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving material flow efficiency, operational performance, and process standardization while supporting business growth in automotive and heavy-duty environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize internal material flows, including storage, line feeding, material handling, and WIP management.
• Develop solutions tailored to battery and ICE manufacturing requirements, ensuring safety, traceability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of digital tools and technologies such as WMS, MES, IoT, and data analytics solutions.
• Monitor logistics performance through KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven improvement initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, and IT teams to align logistics strategies.
• Support change management, training, and capability development within internal logistics teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty manufacturing, with exposure to battery and/or ICE operations.
• Proven experience in internal logistics optimization, process improvement, and digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, MES, IoT technologies, data analytics tools, and KPI management.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, and project management methodologies.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
