Job summary

SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH seeks an experienced engineer to support major offshore wind development projects across Europe. You will provide technical expertise throughout fabrication of subsea cable systems, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Solid experience with the fabrication or manufacturing of subsea power cable systems within offshore wind, renewable energy or large-scale transmission infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of cable manufacturing processes, factory inspections, quality assurance and testing requirements.
• Experience reviewing manufacturing documentation and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• Familiarity with relevant international standards and quality management processes.
• Experience supporting FATs, supplier inspections or manufacturing surveillance is considered an advantage.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise throughout the fabrication and manufacturing of subsea power cable systems
• Support the engineering, review and coordination of manufacturing processes for export and inter-array cables
• Review manufacturing documentation, quality plans, inspection procedures and technical specifications
• Coordinate technical interfaces between cable manufacturers, suppliers, project stakeholders and certification bodies
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, client specifications and project requirements
• Support factory acceptance tests (FATs), inspections, quality surveillance, non-conformance management and technical clarifications throughout the fabrication phase
• Contribute to manufacturing optimisation, technical troubleshooting, risk assessments and multidisciplinary engineering coordination
