Job summary

HCLTech in Kraków is seeking a skilled Application Packaging specialist to lead packaging, repackaging and automated software deployments for Windows desktops.

The role covers Flexera Admin Studio, Wise Package Studio, Intune packaging, SCCM/Intune deployments and end-to-end lifecycle management, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

You will mentor junior engineers, create clear technical docs and participate in POC efforts and training.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Application packaging and repackaging for Windows desktops.
• Hands-on experience with Flexera Admin Studio, Wise Package Studio, AppV 5.x.
• Experience with Intune packaging and related troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Application Life Cycle Management including packaging and deployment.
• Create clear technical documentation for packaging projects and maintain records.
• Mentor team members, guide peers in POC activities and new technology adoption.

Job description

• Expertise in Application packaging, Application repackaging and automating software installations for a range of Windows desktop software using software packaging technologies.
• Hands on experience in Flexera Admin studio / Wise Package Studio, AppV 5.xand any other repackaging tools
• Excellent working knowledge in Intune packaging and troubleshooting activities.
• Good logical diagnostic skills: ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and support the team.
• Ability to use & understand the scripting languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, PSADT, Batch Script, Wise Scriptand able to guide the team members effectively.
• Should have hands on experience in Service Now/Remedy tools for application life cycle management.
• Hands on experience in handling MSIX and AppX packages and able to perform POC around the same.
• Should have excellent experience in SCCM/Intune deployment activities and knowledge in other deployment activities.
• Should have the end-to-end visibility of Application Life Cycle Management and associated process in it including Application Portfolio Management.
• Experience on MAC Packaging is an added advantage.
• Knowledge or experience on Automation of Packaging process/technology
• Ability to communicate effectively with both IT and non-IT staff.
• Good record keeping skills with the ability to produce clear technical documentation of packaging projects.
• Self-motivated, quick learner, able to work unsupervised and to contribute as an effective member of the team.
• Ability to innovate and convince others of the argument for change.
• Ability and eagerness to meet new objectives and learn new skills.
• Ability to perform Quality Analysis for the team and provide innovative solutions to reduce the cycle time.
