Job summary

Alstom in Poland is seeking a Sub-System Manager to lead the design and development of rail solutions, coordinating across engineering, procurement, and supply chain. You will drive complex initiatives to ensure subsystem reliability and on-time delivery.

In this role you will manage sub-system scopes, monitor performance, and align with contract objectives, while leading cross-functional teams and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Experience with project management principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with risk management, compliance, and quality standards.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate sub-system activities from requirements capture to final project delivery.
• Plan, monitor, and manage sub-system activities, including scope, schedule, resources, and risks.
• Synchronize stakeholders and ensure alignment at the sub-system level.
• Manage interfaces with project-level teams and train-level teams to resolve issues and optimize outcomes.
