Student Experience Coordinator (Careers)
The Global Institute of Sport (GIS) is looking for a Student Experience Coordinator to join our Student Experience team, with a particular focus on coordinating our students' journey through the GIS careers enhancement pathway. You will help students move successfully through each stage of the pathway, from careers webinars and seminars through to peer mentoring and one-to-one coaching, ensuring every student can access the support that helps them progress.
Alongside this, you will act as a frontline point of contact for the wider Student Experience team, and work closely with colleagues across registry to ensure a high quality and joined up student experience. You will work closely with colleagues across Academic Services, Student Support and Registry, as well as with our university partners, the University of East London (UEL) and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Some flexibility to work across time zones may be required to support GIS's global student body.
This is a great opportunity for an organised, personable individual with an interest in careers, employability or student development to build a career in higher education at a world-leading sports education provider.

- Curiosity - staying open to new ideas and approaches, and committing to your own lifelong learning.
- Courage - taking ownership of a varied, sometimes ambiguous workload with confidence and a focus on getting things done.

- Support students through key touchpoints in their journey, including onboarding, induction and enrolment.
- Help to deliver open days, taster sessions, induction events and student webinars.
- Collate and analyse student feedback, including survey data, to support continuous improvement of the student experience.

- Provide customer service and administrative support to other Registry departments as required, including covering peak periods or absence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records on GIS and partner university systems.
- Support the wider Academic Services and Registry team with general administrative tasks as required.
- Attend and support GIS open days, taster sessions and webinars as required.
